History of Health Sciences Graduate Student
I am a Ph.D. student at the University of California, San Francisco, in the History of Health Sciences Program. I work as a population health analyst with expertise in spatial epidemiology, analyzing the spatial relationship between diseases and disorders among populations that are marginalized. In my spare time, I love taking extensive walks around the Lake (aka Lake Merritt), enjoying nature, getting some daily cardio, and I enjoy good, new food spots!

Current Work
My research interests include (1) analyzing high-risk factors, substance use, and other psychological disorders among populations marginalized, (2) understanding the criminalization of diseases and disorders, and (3) historicizing the US national security policies on public health interventions. My interests intersect with major disciplines: (1) psychology, (2) history of health sciences, (3) public health, and (4) public policy.
I am currently working in the C.R.E.A.M. Lab as a Laboratory Assistant. My current project is the Black EEG Study, with a focus on diversifying the participant pool in clinical psychological studies and to improve the ways in which EEG data are collected on Black participants.
